Founding Director of Awaz FM in 1996.

We first came on air in September 1997, those were the days of flats and limited amount of equipment.  Our first broadcast was for three weeks, how times have changed and today Awaz FM is one of the main radio stations in Glasgow, if not Scotland.

As Project Director of Awaz FM and focusing on the strategic development of the station.

Awaz FM is just not a station but a community asset offering volunteers training and providing media skills to assist in their careers to go further in this field. It allows self confidence and develops self awareness.

Awaz FM has gone from strength to strength and is due to the tremendous effort by the volunteers, the listeners and local businesses who support us.

Join me on Saturday Breakfast Show between 11am-12noon. A show mixed with interviews, sports (with Ammar )and entertainment.
